Aluminum Tennis Racquets

Aluminum tennis racquets replaced the original wood racquets back in the 1970s, as the material is much lighter and creates a 50 percent larger string space. Having a lighter racquet with a larger hitting range for incoming tennis balls made playing the sport a bit easier, especially for beginners. Additionally, aluminum is more durable than wood and able to absorb all the unavoidable dings and hits that tennis equipment endures. While graphite and titanium now top the list for most high-end tennis racquets, aluminum is still a great material for those who are still checking out the sport as a beginner.
